Moncef Benzakour has more than 15 years of national and international experience in the biggest financial institutions where he held key positions in Investment Banking and Structured Finance divisions (including LBO, project finance etc) in banks such as Morgan Stanley, Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays, Société Générale with a track record in Europe but also in South Africa and North Africa.

 

Prior to the creation of FinTrust Capital, Moncef was in charge of the Structured Finance division, then SME market and Corporate Business Development (strategic monitoring on the key sectors at play) at Société Générale in Morocco. Afterwards, Moncef Benzakour was the CEO of AERA Capital, a holding investment company with a strategic focus on the driving sectors of the local and continental economies and also on international startups.

 

With this rich and varied background, Moncef has developed a real expertise in complex financial operations, relevant strategies for companies as well as an in-depth knowledge of key sectors of the Moroccan economy, their challenges and their growth dynamics.
